The original Ride and Slide chalet, Chalet Les Lanchettes, has just undergone a bit of a renovation! Situated at an altitude of 1,152m just outside the town of Morzine and under 500m from the main ski lift up to the town of Avoriaz the chalet offers an excellent location for easy access to/from the slopes (it's usually possible to ski back to within 150m of the chalet). If you're not feeling up to the 500m walk to the ski lift, we offer a complimentary minibus service in the mornings and evenings if arranged in advance, and the free ski bus passes directly outside the door of the chalet.

The chalet is a 200 year old barn converted in 2004 to offer all the facilities of a modern property with the old world charm of a French alpine chalet. The chalet has undergone further renovation this summer to change all the bedrooms to have ensuite shower & toilet rooms. We have five large guest bedrooms and an open plan lounge & dining area providing plenty of room to relax and unwind after a long day on the slopes.

Upstairs there are two large family bedrooms, both featuring the exposed beams of the original barn structure. Downstairs there are a further three spacious bedrooms (double or twin rooms). For those wishing to spend the evening in the chalet, there is a TV, DVD, playstation, and selection of board games provided in the lounge area.

In the basement of the chalet you will find a secure ski locker for safe storage of any equipment you bring or hire. A heated boot rack will ensure your boots are dried thoroughly overnight, ready for the next day.
