The original Ride and Slide chalet, Chalet Les Lanchettes, is situated at an altitude of 1,152m just outside the town of Morzine and is under 500m from the main ski lift to the village of Avoriaz that is perched on top of one of the worlds highest cliffs. Morzine and Avoriaz are two of the most popular destinations in the Portes Du Soleil for winter holiday makers. If you're not feeling up to the 500m walk to the ski lift, we offer a complimentary minibus service in the mornings and evenings if arranged in advance, and the free ski bus passes directly outside the door of the chalet.

The chalet is a newly converted barn offering all the facilities of a modern property with the old world charm of a French alpine chalet. We have five large guest bedrooms and an open plan lounge & dining area providing plenty of room to relax and unwind after a long day on the slopes.

Upstairs there are two large family bedrooms, both featuring the exposed beams of the original barn structure. Downstairs there are a further three spacious bedrooms (doubles/twins or a triple room). For those wishing to spend the evening in the chalet, there is a TV, DVD, playstation, and selection of board games provided in the lounge area.

In the basement of the chalet you will find a secure ski locker for safe storage of any equipment you bring or hire. A heated boot rack will ensure your boots are dried thoroughly overnight, ready for the next day.
