Terms & Conditions
The aim of Ride & Slide is to provide you with a first class holiday of an unparalleled standard. In order to maintain our level of service and exceed our customers’ expectations the following terms and conditions will apply to all bookings.
Contract
All bookings must be confirmed in writing by completing the booking form and
submitting it to the Ride & Slide email address (this is automatic on
pressing the submit button). Upon receipt of the completed booking form and payment of the booking deposit (as detailed below) a confirmation of booking will be sent. When the booking confirmation has been sent, a contract will be deemed to exist between Ride & Slide and the
sender of the booking form whom confirms that he/she is duly authorised to bind all members of the party to the terms of this contract.
Once the Booking Contract comes into existence, Ride & Slide undertake to maintain the
agreed cost of the holiday.
Deposit
Upon booking a deposit of €150 per person becomes payable prior
to the acceptance of the booking and the inception of the Booking
Contract. Full payment of the remaining balance of the holiday cost
is due 8 weeks before the holiday start date. If you are booking closer
than 8 weeks to the start of your holiday, the full amount is payable
immediately.
Self Catering Holidays
At the time of paying the final balance of your holiday, a security
deposit cheque for €1,000 will also be required. This cheque
will not be cashed unless in the event of serious damage to the chalet
Cancellation
In the event that you should wish to cancel your holiday, you must notify Ride & Slide immediately. The following cancellation charges shall apply dependant on when the notification is received:

Changes to your Holiday
In the unlikely event that Ride & Slide need to amend your holiday, we will undertake to let you know as soon as possible and will offer the altered holiday with an appropriate refund or the option for you to cancel the holiday with a complete refund of all monies paid to us. We cannot be responsible for refund of any costs incurred with parties other then ourselves.
In the event that you wish to amend your holiday in any way, we shall do our best to accommodate any changes although in the event that we cannot meet your request we reserve that right to treat the booking as cancelled.
Insurance
It is essential that all people in your booking have suitable travel insurance. You should be aware that not all travel insurance provides suitable cover for mountain activities. Please feel free to contact us if you require further information in this regard.
Accompanied Activities
In the event of Ride & Slide staff accompanying you on any activities, it is your responsibility to ensure that you do not exceed your individual abilities. Ride & Slide staff can provide advice on suggested activities and their difficulties but they are not qualified guides or instructors and as such any undertaking by you of suggested routes or activities is done so entirely at your own risk. We would recommend you ensure that all participants are in a sufficient state of good health before undertaking any activities
Force Majeure
Ride & Slide cannot be held responsible in the event of any change or cancellation of any part of your holiday in anyway because of industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
Transfer Services
Airport transfers to and from Geneva airport may incurr a small delay in the event of incompatible flight times although we will endeavour to minimise any such delays should they occur.
You and members of your booking travel in Ride & Slide vehicles entirely at your own risk.
Your Behaviour
Ride & Slide expect all guests to behave in such a way as to not prejudice our reputation, or cause any offence to our other clients, neighbours, suppliers, or anyone else associated with Ride & Slide. In the event of any infringement on this expectation, we reserve the right to terminate the contract with immediate effect and demand you vacate the chalet.
Liability
We reserve the right to recover any costs incurred as a result of breakages, damage to the accommodation, or any other unexpected costs incurred by Ride & Slide caused with or without intent by the customer. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage to property suffered by you unless caused by the negligence of our company.
Complaints
In the event that you should have any complaints with your holiday you must inform the Ride & Slide staff as soon as possible. In the event the complaint is not resolved to your satisfaction, you must confirm details of the complaint in writing to the address provided by the Ride & Slide staff.
